Notes from the Importer: Chateau de Bonnezeaux owns a history reaching back to the early 19th century, part of Guyonne Saclier de la Bâtie's ancestral history. For decades the vineyard property was leased out and eventually abandoned, until Guyonne was installed as winemaker in 2012. By 2016, she'd released her first vintage from replanted vineyards, four hectares of organic, goblet-trained Chenin Blanc. With balanced tropical notes minerality, this is a food-friendly and refreshing Loire white to bring to BYO sushi or pour with crunchy salads at home.
