Notes from the Importer: “Casa Belfi” is the organic and biodynamic line of products of Albino Armani’s portfolio. This project is the result of the friendship between the producer Albino Armani and the winemaker Maurizio Donadi whose enthusiasm focused on natural wines combines well with Albino’s passion towards research and safeguard of old indigenous grapes. They decided to join their strengths taking advantage of their mutual skills : Maurizio is personally in charge of all the works in the vineyards (no additional grapes are bought from other growers) and in the cellar, where no chemical products, no filtering and no clarification are used according to the procedures of organic and biodynamic growing and winemaking. All operations are carried out following the Maria Thun calendar. On the other hand, Albino Armani takes care of the communication and sales of the Casa Belfi wines, through his commercial network.
