Notes from the Importer: After 21 years as winemaker at the cult Clos Cristal in Saumur, Eric Dubois and his wife Alex went back on the road to look for a new wine adventure. During that time, Eric worked 2 years with legendary Nicolas Joly at Coulée de Serrant to hone its biodynamic farming skills. Eventually, in late 2017, they found a beautiful organic 5,5 hectares vineyard in black Anjou, 7 miles west of Savennieres, where schist soils are king. Planted with Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin, Grolleau and Gamay, the couple presented its inaugural 2018 vintage at La Dive in February 2020.
