Notes from the Importer: In the early 1980s, Rémy Gross, Vincent's father, took over from his parents the winery founded by his grandfather Louis Gross, which had 2.5 hectares of vineyards at the time. Thus, the Domaine Gross winery, which is just around the corner from Colmar and in the heart of Alsace, has been family-run for the 3rd generation and with Vincent in the 4th generation. Today, Remy and Vincent share 10 hectares of organic certified vineyards, which are still managed in the family spirit. Together they grow Muscat, Riesling, Sylvaner, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir. The entire vineyard is cultivated according to the principles of biodynamics and their main objective is to produce wines with great aromatic expression.
