Notes from the Importer: Domaine Jeandauge, in its current guise, is a fairly young project. Winemaker Sebastian took on the family estate in 2012 and set about converting its vineyards to organic viticulture. What was once a regimented sequence of bland rows, blossomed into a biodiverse paradise; with cover crops and insects thriving amongst the vines. In 2017 they were able to produce their first, naturally vinified vintage. The Domaine is now working with biodynamic conversion as well and is a driving force for natural winemaking in the South of France.
