Notes from the Importer: 2020 marks the first year of collaboration between Jean-François and his son Arthur, who is steadily taking on a larger role in the domaine's viticulture. In addition to lending his dad a hand, the 22-year-old Arthur has two small parcels of his own: Baumgarten (Pinot Noir) and Paradis (Riesling), both planted to the calcareous terroir of Steinert, on the slopes of the Vosges. Although the wines are vinified in collaboration with Jean-François, the family decided to ascribe a unique label to Arthur's production, drawing attention to his independent work and aesthetic choices.
