Living in London and uninspired by his post-college career, he sought solace at a local wine shop, where he discovered the wines of Burgundy producer Maison Harbour.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHe fell in love with wine and entered school in Burgundy, where the program required Joachim to complete an internship en \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ealternance\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e; he discovered Chandon de Briailles in \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSavigny les Beaune, and interned alongside Christian Knott (the lesser half of Domaine Dandelion!). \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font_8\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e2019 was Joachim’s first vintage in his Meursault cellar. He makes 1-3 barrels each of three wines from three organic vineyard sites - “Les Bas Liards” in Savigny-les-Beaune, “Les Vaux” in Meursault, and a Pernand-Vergelesses Blanc.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font_8\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHis ultimate goal is to own, farm, and make wine from his own slice of heaven in Meursault.
