Notes from the Importer: Domaine de la piffaudière is the story of an atypical estate in the loire. Olivier bellanger, the winemaker, has been operating an 8 hectare vineyard since 2008 located on the slopes of the Cher Valley, in monthou. olivier is a bit of a goldsmith winemaker who makes wines that are both precise and unique, produced in organic viticulture. the loire winegrower methodically vinifies wines made from blends of various and varied grape. all these efforts are guided by its guideline: "to produce zero-defect wines". the little story. The work we do at la piffaudière is the work of enthusiast and passionated people. I try to develop my cuvées as accurately as possible to offer delicate and exceptional "tasting" experiences. the golden rule is to ban all chemical inputs to reveal all the subtlety of the soil. the natural wines testify a beautiful maturity and a particular balance which stands out from the wines resulting from classic viticulture.
