Vinification: All of the grapes were harvested and vinified separately at their own optimal ripeness. Each of the red wines were destemmed and gently macerated at cool temperatures for 4-14 days. 3/4 of the Cabernet Sauvignon and all of the Zinfandel was made as a rosé. The Chardonnay was destemmed and macerated for two weeks until it was pressed at dryness.
Aging: The wines were then aged separately for 7 months in a combination of neutral oak and flextanks, at which point the components were blended and 18ppm of sulfur was added. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration in early May.

Notes from the Producer: Continue with us on our cosmic adventure as we take a trip through the universe to redefine what a Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine can taste like. This extremely playful take on the Bordeaux varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is augmented with the fruity expressions of Zinfandel rosé and then further lightened and brightened up with Chardonnay.
