Notes from the Importer: This small project in the Marco de Jerez is run by the Muchada-Léclapart team. It all started when architecture student Alejandro Muchada crossed paths with the vigneron David Léclapart and there began his passion for biodynamic viticulture. Together they decided to make their own wines in Andalusia.
Muchada-Léclapart Elixir comes from a mix of old Muscat vines (40 years old) and Palomino Fino vines (60 years old). They follow the principles of biodynamic cultivation, treating the estate as an entity where plants, animals and people can work together as one. No chemicals are used and the natural balance of the terroir is maintained through homeopathic treatments. Animals are used to help work the land and the harvest is carried out manually at the optimal time in small boxes.
