Notes from the Importer:
Our Pinot Noir Hochegg 2018 is the most extraordinary wine we have ever had in our history!
During the two-year maturation in small oak barrels, we recognized at every tasting which preciousness we have in the cellar. All of our wine-loving friends, primarily top sommeliers, were overwhelmed by the quality of this Pinot Noir.
All components of this wine are combined in a unique harmony. With such a balanced integration of fruit, structure, acidity and tannins, it will “knock your socks off”. There will certainly not be such a wine every year. How knows, when we will have such a wine ever again…..
The amount of this Pinot Noir is very limited. Only 500 bottles for wine lovers are available.
We will number the bottles from 1 to 500 by hand.
The first bottle was auctioned for € 1,120.00 and 100% of the proceeds were donated to "Österreichischer Naturschutzbund" (Austrian Nature Conservation Union) to mantain nature reserves.
