Vinification: All grapes were hand-harvested and vinified separately. Each of the red wines were destemmed and gently macerated at cool temperatures for 4-14 days.
Aging: The wines were then aged separately for 9 months in a combination of neutral oak and flextanks at which point the components were blended and 15ppm of sulfur was added.
Fining or Filtering: The wine was bottled without fining or filtration in early July, 2021.
Notes from the Winemaker: This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma Valley and Alexander Valley maintains a striking freshness and acidity, along with layers of structure and complexity. The resulting wine is fresh, with bright juicy berry fruit and layers of earthiness and spice characteristic of these Bordeaux-based varieties. Drink now.
