Notes from the Importer: Located in the terroirs between Colle Umberto and San Fior, around 50 km north of Venice, our winery has farmed its estate for generations, adhering meticulously to the production cycle: from cultivating the vines, to growing and selecting the grapes, hand harvesting them in small crates, through to bottling and labelling. We’ve chosen to rediscover native and traditional grape varieties in an organic way of agricolture, as Manzoni-13025, Recantina and Glera. The gently rolling hills of Colle Umberto are perfect for growing Prosecco, while the pebbly soil of San Fior, which used to be planted with Merlot and Verduzzo, now gives excellent results on a base of Pinot Grigio and Incrocio Manzoni. Its calcareous soils of glacial origin and southerly exposure give the wines excellent mineral notes and a ripe fruit. We are committed to quality, respectful of the terroir and nature, we have not used chemical fertilisers for years now, aiming to interfere as little as possible with development of the natural ecosystem. We want to put healthy natural wines out into the world, the result of a knowledgeable blend of genuine grapes, chosen one by one and processed using innovative techniques to create the best aroma and flavours. - Coletti
