What is Buvons?

Buvons is a women-owned natural wine bar, bottle shop, and restaurant in Long Beach, California. We focus on small-production wines and French-Mediterranean food with a California sensibility.

What does “natural wine” mean?

Natural wine is made with minimal intervention—no chemicals, no additives, just grapes and time. Expect expressive, vibrant, sometimes a little wild wines.

Where are you located?

1145 + 1147 Loma Ave, Long Beach, CA 90804, in the Zaferia neighborhood.

What are your hours?

Bottle Shop + Wine Bar: 12pm–close
Restaurant + Dinner Service: 5pm–11pm

Do you allow walk-ins?

Yes! We always leave space for walk-ins, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes — digital gift cards are available online anytime.


BOTTLE SHOP

Can I buy bottles to-go?

Absolutely. The shop is open Wednesday–Sunday from 12–7pm, and we can still assist with to-go bottles after 7pm if we’re open.

Do you offer wine recommendations?

Of course. Whether you're shopping in person or online, our team is happy to help you find the perfect bottle.

Can I order wine online?

Yes — shop our current selection and choose pickup or shipping at checkout.

Do you offer chilled bottles?

Yes! We keep a rotating selection chilled and ready to take home or enjoy on-site.

Can I drink a bottle from the shop in the restaurant?

Yes. You’re welcome to select any bottle from the shop to enjoy during dinner. The corkage fee is $15, waived for wine club members.

Do you ship wine?

Yes, we ship to most states. Please inform us if you have time constraints. We do not ship when temperatures exceed 80°F.


WINE CLUB

What’s included in the Wine Club?

Monthly curated small-production wines, monthly tastings, and free corkage when dining in.

How do I join?

You can sign up online — visit our Wine Club page for details.

Can I gift a membership?

Yes! Wine club memberships make thoughtful, delicious gifts. You can purchase gift memberships online.


DINING & RESERVATIONS

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are encouraged for dinner, especially on weekends, but we always welcome walk-ins when space allows.

Do you offer vegetarian or gluten-free options?

Yes — our seasonal menu includes several vegetarian and gluten-free dishes.

Can I bring my own bottle?

Outside bottles are politely declined.
Shop bottles enjoyed on-site have a $15 corkage fee, waived for wine club members.

How long is the dining experience?

For quick snacks, we offer cheese + charcuterie boards. For dinner, we recommend 1.5–2 hours to fully enjoy the meal.

Do you accept large groups?

We can accommodate groups up to 8 for regular dining. For parties of 9 or more, please contact us at hello@buvonswine.com.

Is the patio dog-friendly?

Yes — dogs are welcome on our patio.

Is outdoor seating heated?

Yes. When the patio is open, we provide heaters and blankets.

Do you have high chairs? Is the space stroller-friendly?

We don’t have high chairs, but the space is stroller-friendly.

Do you offer takeout?

No, we do not offer takeout at this time.


PRIVATE EVENTS & TASTINGS

Do you host private events?

Yes — we offer curated private events, wine dinners, and full buyouts. Email events@buvonswine.com for more information.

How do I attend a tasting?

Visit our Events page for upcoming tastings. Some are ticketed and tend to fill quickly, so we recommend booking early.

Do you host off-site events?

Yes. We offer everything from wine drop-offs to full-service catering. We specialize in weddings, dinners, wine tastings, and intimate private-chef-style experiences.

Can you customize tastings?

Absolutely. Whether it’s a birthday, team outing, or something just for fun, we can curate a tasting tailored to your group.


POLICIES

Are kids allowed?

Yes — kids are welcome in the restaurant and on the patio.

Are pets allowed?

Leashed pets are welcome on the patio.

What’s your return policy on wine?

All wine sales are final. If you experience a corked bottle, please reach out within 3 days.

What’s your service charge policy?

A 20% service charge is applied to groups of 6 or more.

Is outside food allowed?

We allow cakes only. There is a $2/person cake-cutting fee.

Is there a time limit on tables?

During peak hours, tables may be limited to 2 hours.

Do you allow photo or video shoots?

Yes, as long as it’s respectful and does not disturb other guests. Professional shoots require prior approval.
