Notes from the Importer:  Based in Noroy-le-Bourg, about twenty kilometers from Vesoul, Nicolas Bernard completely changed his life in 2016 to take over his grandparents' farm. A former agri-food engineer, he chose to reconnect with the land and create an estate that reflects his own values—one where biodiversity and respect for living things take center stage. The estate, named Les Miroudots, now spans three hectares of vines surrounded by natural meadows and an orchard, all farmed organically.
Planted starting in 2017 on clay-limestone soils, the vineyards feature a mix of traditional Jura grape varieties and disease-resistant ones. Varieties include Savagnin, Auxerrois, and Poulsard, alongside Gamaret, Syrah, Muscaris, Souvignier Gris, Léon Millot, and Artaban. This unique selection of grapes reflects Nicolas's desire to explore new paths while minimizing vineyard treatments.

Vibrant wines bridging the Jura and Franche-Comté In the cellar, Nicolas Bernard favors natural winemaking methods, using indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention to allow each grape variety and vintage to express itself freely. His wines stand out for their freshness, energy, and distinctive character—much like the lesser-known terroir where they are produced, right at the edge of the Jura region. It is a fresh, new signature that breaks the mold, offering wines that are authentic, creative, and truly alive.
