Notes from the Importer: Vin des Potes is, above all, a story of encounters, living wines, and passionate artisans. Founded by Basile Passe, sommelier and wine lover, the label was born from a simple desire: to create cuvées in collaboration with committed winemakers and to share them with those who bring gastronomy to life.
Stefano Amerighi encouraged him to change paths. Trained in Suze-la-Rousse, he discovered the richness of vineyard work and refined his palate through tastings and wine fairs. In this momentum, in 2016, he co-founded the Vin des Potes label with Yoan Tavares, then sommelier at La Chassagnette in Arles. Together, they signed their first cuvée, 100% Syrah, born from an instinctive collaboration with winemaker Stéphane Gros. That’s how the adventure began: from an encounter, a wine, a simple idea that became a collective project.
Vin des Potes brings together artisan winemakers from France and Europe around singular cuvées, created hand in hand, with respect for living soils and nature. The label has also expanded to include the import and distribution of wines from fellow European winemakers, building a privileged link with gastronomy and the restaurant world.
