Notes from the Importer: This is everything and the kitchen sink; it is a white blend made from all their white grapes, which includes beloved varieties such as Sylvaner and Müller-Thurgau, as well as Muscaris and Johanniter. Vinification? Everything, some skin contact, some not, some stainless steel, some barrel – everything blended before bottling.
This is a soaring wine, with an expansive and buoyant perfumed and aromatic nose driven largely by the Musaris, which smells like a flower shop after a rainstorm. For all this taut opulence, the palate is crisp and straight, finely layered with citrus and stone fruit, plenty of green oily herbs and refreshing minerals. Damn this is just easy to love and easy to drink.
